We welcome the following *contributions.

·        Photographs of any www.railphoto.co.uk style of subject, meaning of the modern railway scene and not a boring old record shot; but artistic and or experimental. Are you proud of a shot? Then send it in!

·        Articles (You decide the relevance) ideally with a photographic content but not essential.

·        Letters and comments.

·        Equipment reports and techniques etc.

·        News pictures, but only if of a very high pictorial standard please.

·        We intend to run a regular competition especially after the success of the winter shots one in December last. Please do e-mail me with your ideas/suggestions for themes etc.

·    What inspires you? More photographer profiles please.

·        Any other ideas you have?

Rail Photo is truly international; subjects and photographs from around the globe as well as the UK are equally welcome.

We plan initially to publish bi-monthly, depending upon interest and my work commitments etc. All contents will be edited by myself and with occasional added wisdom from members of Phoenix and the MRPC at our regular meetings in the pub!

All contributions should be by e-mail. Please only send e-mails with attachments of photographs to this e-mail martyn.fordham@virgin.net please also restrict picture file sizes to a maximum of 150k. Do also note that e-mails of over 1000k will be automatically deleted from my server.

Edition No 2 will be published sometime during April all being well.
